In the October 15 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kim spoke without filters about the most turbulent phases of her marriage: the uncertainty of not knowing what she would find when she woke up, and the emotional and even financial instability that living with that unpredictability caused her. “I didn’t feel safe, not even physically, but emotionally”, she confessed. “I didn’t know what I was going to find when I woke up, and that’s a really unsettling feeling”.
But what’s most surprising is not the chaos — it’s the reason she decided to leave. “When my mental health starts to be affected and I can’t parent the way I should, one of the two of us has to be able to do it”, she said. Kim, mother of North (12), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (6), finalized her divorce from Kanye in November 2022. And she chose to stay whole for her children. 💛
