Kimberly Gsell agreed to get into a pickup truck. Then she disappeared.

She was last seen between September 28 and 29, 2019, at the Rodeway Inn in Middlesex Township, after an argument with her fiancée. David Allen Snyder, her fiancée’s husband (with whom she was rumored to have an open relationship, meaning the women were not lovers), offered to help her, and Gsell got into his vehicle. She was never seen again.

On September 25, 2026, nearly seven years later, forensic anthropologists found remains in New Cumberland. Dental records and rapid DNA tests confirmed they belonged to Gsell. Police reported that Snyder admitted to luring her into his pickup truck, then strangling her and concealing her body. He was charged with first-degree murder and strangulation; the preliminary hearing was scheduled for October 7, 2026. He has not yet been found guilty.
