A few days ago, a shelter saved Midnite, a 6-year-old cat who was going to be euthanized because of a severe stomach obstruction. The rescuers took her in and operated on her immediately, discovering in amazement that she had swallowed 26 hair ties!
Small objects can become a real nightmare for those who live with “curious” pets. Fortunately, the surgery was a success and Midnite was able to recover progressively. Without a doubt, the owners will never leave a small object on the floor again, since a simple oversight at home almost cost this sweet companion her life.
