Krystina Butel was 15 when someone drew a caricature of her during a holiday in Ibiza.
The drawing cost her just 12 euros, but it changed her life. As she told the Daily Mail, the caricature captivated her immediately, and she felt envious of it. As a hairdresser in Wakefield, England, she didn’t have the money for surgery, so she saved up little by little, year after year.
Since then, she spent between 15 and 17 years transforming herself. She had five breast augmentations, which were the most expensive procedures, as well as Botox, lip injections and teeth whitening.
The cheapest procedure, at around 165 dollars, was having her nipples shaped like hearts with a tattoo, although they don’t even appear in the drawing.
The figures vary depending on the outlet, ranging between 130.000 and 190.000 pounds, and are based on what she herself said.
And yet, Krystina says there’s always something else. She was already planning a brow lift, new implants and more Botox in her lips.
