In a recent interview with Who What Wear, the 29-year-old entrepreneur once again defended her title as “self-made billionaire”, the label Forbes gave her in 2019 when it named her the world’s youngest self-made billionaire thanks to Kylie Cosmetics. Her statement was direct: “None of the income I have generated is inherited, so technically it’s true”.
But she didn’t stop there. She also acknowledged something few celebrities admit out loud: “people feel that the privilege I had was an important springboard”. For her, not receiving money from Kris and Caitlyn Jenner after the age of 15 is proof that she built everything on her own.
