An unusual situation went viral after a woman was recorded eating on top of a jewelry stand, completely blocking the view of a jewelry store. In the footage, the saleswoman can be heard calmly asking her to leave, explaining that she could not use that place as a table or obstruct the display window, since it directly affected sales.
Far from complying, the woman ignored all the instructions and continued eating her tacos as if nothing were happening. Even though she was repeatedly told that there was an area designated for eating, she refused to move and said she would stay there because she was comfortable. The situation caused discomfort, especially because the worker insisted that she could receive a reprimand due to the drop in sales.
As the tension increased, the woman kept eating without showing any intention of leaving. She finished her food and drink without giving in to the requests, and only when she was done did she decide to leave the place, leaving behind a scene that quickly began circulating on social media.
The video sparked a wave of criticism and the woman was nicknamed “Lady Tacos”. However, as the hours passed, an unexpected twist emerged: it had all allegedly been staged. The protagonist explained that the footage was part of a strategy to generate content and visibility on social media. Nevertheless, the plan did not turn out as she expected, since she received negative comments about her attitude and even personal attacks, which led her to regret having taken the situation so far.
