Lauren Enslow met Lucas Olsen when they were both in high school, but the story was far from beginning as a romance. He was part of the group that made fun of her, gave her nicknames, and even recorded her to share the videos among their classmates.
That’s why Lauren was quite clear about it: she hated him.
Everything changed years later, when she was in a car accident and Lucas was genuinely concerned to find out how she was doing. From then on they began talking, became friends, and Lauren started to get to know a very different version of him from the one she remembered from school.
The friendship ended up turning into a relationship and, against all odds, they got married in 2022.
Even Lauren admits that her story sounds strange, because probably no one would have bet that the boy who bothered her the most would end up being the man she’d share her life with.
