He is now 15 years old and has just defended his doctoral thesis in quantum physics at the University of Antwerp, Belgium, with research on Bose-Einstein condensates and the connections between boson states and black holes. The same boy they call the “little Einstein” also did an internship in quantum optics at Germany’s Max Planck Institute. His IQ is 145, which places him in the top 0,1 % of the entire world population. 🌍
But Laurent did not stop there. The day after defending his doctorate, he enrolled in a second doctoral program, this time in medical sciences in Munich, focused on artificial intelligence applied to healthcare.
