Anne Hathaway is 43, expecting her third child, and has just wrapped up what may be the most exhausting year of her career.

Five press tours while pregnant: Mother Mary, The Devil Wears Prada 2, The Odyssey, The End of Oak Street, and now Verity. With a schedule like that, the praise soon followed, and the word “superwoman” began following her onto every red carpet.

She put a stop to it right away. In an interview with AP Entertainment, she said bluntly: “Let’s not exaggerate about the pampered actress. There are many pregnant women, both at home and at work, who, as you know, didn’t get a manicure this morning”.

And she capped it off with a disarming line: “I’m very happy to do my job. I have a lot of support”.
For her, the credit isn’t in her schedule, but belongs to those who carry a pregnancy without glamour or a team behind them.
