Roscoe was by his side for years. On the first anniversary of his death, Lewis Hamilton posted photos and videos of his English bulldog on Instagram and wrote: “A year has passed since Roscoe left us. It’s been hard being without my best friend, and there isn’t a single day I don’t wish he were with me”.

He also remembered Coco, his other bulldog, who died in 2020, and said he thinks of both of them every day. Roscoe died on September 28, 2025, after falling ill with pneumonia. During some checkups, he suffered cardiac arrest; he was resuscitated and fell into a coma. After four days in intensive care, Hamilton decided to say goodbye; Roscoe died in his arms. He said that looking back at the photos made him laugh and smile again as he remembered those moments.
