At the Xochimilco station of Mexico City’s Light Rail, the English signage presented the system as “Light Train”, when the correct term is “Light Rail”. Two words. That was the whole problem.

The photos spread across social media within hours. Some users laughed, others criticized, and everyone agreed that this particular detail, right in the middle of preparations to welcome the world for the 2026 World Cup, was too good to let pass. The pressure worked, and the authorities ended up correcting the sign. In the end, no official committee fixed it… the Internet fixed it. 🏟️
