All three were strangled to death with exercise bands in their home in Duxbury, Massachusetts, on January 24, 2023. The prosecution claims that their mother, Lindsay Clancy, 32, acted intentionally and rationally. Her defense, led by attorney Kevin Reddington, does not deny the facts: it argues that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and bipolar disorder. After killing her children, Clancy jumped from the second-floor window of her home.
As the trial proceeds in Plymouth, hundreds of people—many dressed in pink—demonstrated outside the courthouse with signs that said “Believe” and “Peace for Lindsay”. Her supporters have already raised close to a million dollars to help her family. The names of Cora, Dawson, and Callan appear on no sign and in no fundraiser.
