The jury could not reach an agreement. The trial in Massachusetts of Lindsay Clancy, accused of killing her three children, ended without a verdict in early September 2026.

On the 29th, her lawyer, Kevin Reddington, asked for the case to be dismissed, arguing that the prosecution had not proved she killed the children. Prosecutor Shanan Buckingham rejected the argument, called it “ridiculous” and said that her responsibility had indeed been proven.

Both Reddington and the prosecutors asked the judge to postpone choosing a trial date until they returned to court on November 2.
