At 77 years old and with a musical legacy no one disputes, Lionel Richie took the stage at the Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul, Minnesota. What no one expected was for that night to end with paramedics, an ambulance, and total silence from his team.

It all started during “Dancing On The Ceiling”: videos show Richie stopping several times, sitting on the edge of the stage without letting go of the microphone. He himself told the audience that he felt dizzy — and between songs he offered his most honest advice: “When you feel dizzy, sit down”. After “Three Times A Lady”, he announced an unusual intermission. Forty minutes later, saxophonist Dino Soldo returned alone to deliver the news: “Unfortunately, Lionel is not feeling well. He will not be able to continue”. 😔

Sources close to the singer confirmed to TMZ that he was treated backstage and taken by ambulance to a hospital, although they clarified that it was a precautionary measure. His health condition remains a mystery: neither his representative nor his team has spoken publicly. The “Sing A Song All Night Long” tour, alongside Earth, Wind & Fire, has its next stop scheduled in Chicago this Friday. 🌟
