Lisette Lee called herself the ‘Korean Paris Hilton.’ She claimed to be a Samsung heiress, a former Vogue model, and a Harvard graduate, and even said she had made Paris Hilton herself cry at Buckley School.

None of that was true. Behind the purple Mercedes, the two Bentleys, and the 1,2-million-dollar apartment in West Hollywood, Lee ran a network that chartered private planes from Los Angeles to Ohio loaded with marijuana. Sushi dinners, truth-or-dare games, and cocaine were the perfect bait to recruit her own friends as mules, promising them fake jobs at Samsung.
Police found more than 225 kilos of drugs wrapped in plastic and 6.500 dollars in cash in her bag. The fake heiress ended up behind bars, and her fantasy empire collapsed in a single operation.
