Liudmila Pérez-Labrada, a 36-year-old Cuban woman, had been through this before. In July 2025, Miami-Dade agents raided her home in West Little River and found more than a thousand counterfeit Louis Vuitton items, valued at more than a million dollars if they had been authentic. They did not arrest her that day: she had just undergone surgery.
A year was not enough for her to abandon the business. An anonymous tip to CrimeStoppers in February 2026 reactivated the investigation, and through undercover purchases and months of surveillance, detectives identified more than 570 Zelle deposits —totaling more than 112.000 dollars— linked to an account called Munekas Boutique LLC, associated with her name.
In July 2026, they executed a new search warrant. This time, they seized 2.365 items from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, Dior, Balenciaga, and Burberry, with an estimated actual value of more than 1,7 million dollars. She was finally arrested in Miami Lakes. A judge set her bail at 7.500 dollars, and she is currently being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, facing charges that in Florida could land her up to five years in prison.
