Each carried more than 20 years of marriage and a grief that seemed to have no way out, until their paths crossed in a Facebook group for widowed people. There, a friendship was born, then long conversations, and, without planning it, a love that neither of them expected to feel again.
In September 2024, they married by the ocean, in Outer Banks, North Carolina. As soon as they finished saying their vows, a rainbow appeared over the sea, and minutes later a second one appeared, forming a double rainbow that was captured in every photo from that day.
To them, it was no coincidence: they took it as a blessing from those who are no longer here, as a sign that after losing everything, life still has a new chapter waiting to be written. 🥹❤️
