A man arrived at the hospital with a strange object approximately 60 centimeters long lodged inside his body. To assess the situation, the doctors performed a computed tomography scan with 3D reconstruction, which showed that the object extended from the pelvis to much of the abdominal cavity, bent inside him.
Due to its size and location, the medical team had to carefully analyze the presence of possible injuries and determine the safest way to remove it.
The specialists warned that this type of case can cause serious complications, such as intestinal perforations, internal bleeding, infections, and damage to nearby organs, which is why they require immediate attention and meticulous surgical planning.
