Prathab Muniandy has 42 teeth. A normal adult has 32.
The 33-year-old Malaysian discovered in 2023 that his mouth was different from almost everyone else’s. The first examination counted 38 visible teeth. Then a dental X-ray revealed four more that had not yet come in, bringing the total to 42.
With those numbers, Guinness World Records officially recognized him after several specialists verified them. And the best part is that almost all his teeth grew in straight, so they don’t cause him any problems. He says most people don’t even notice.
But the dentists who examined his mouth had more news for him: he still has two more teeth to come in, so very soon he’ll have 44.
