Man breastfed his baby while the mother suffered complications. He removed the taboos around fatherhood

Since time immemorial, we have been taught that breastfeeding and even some other baby care tasks are something exclusive to women. But honestly, it doesn’t seem fair at all that only mothers get to share so much time with children, nor that fathers should not contribute in that sense.

Well, a man from Wisconsin, United States, showed that it is possible for a father to breastfeed his newborn baby.

Maxamillian Neubauer recently shared on his social media the special and difficult moment he went through with his wife and his nursing daughter.

April, his wife, had problems during the C-section, so she could not breastfeed her newborn daughter herself. Instead, the nurses asked Max if he wanted to do it using a rubber nipple system and he gladly agreed.

This is what he posted.

“Due to complications during April’s emergency C-section. A nurse made me an epic offer I couldn’t refuse. I was lucky enough to use a fake nipple and be the first to breastfeed the baby!”.

So the first-time father was the first of the two to feed the baby, although now the mother is the one in charge of that task.

Maxamillian has assured local media that he is delighted with fatherhood and that it has been the best thing that has happened to him in life, and he hopes that other fathers will also be encouraged to experience it more openly.
