In the midst of the gunfire, the talent agent remained seated, enjoying his salad as if nothing were happening, creating the most surreal footage from the Correspondents’ Dinner.

His explanation? A mix of New York grit and vanity. “We live with sirens and constant activity all the time. I wasn’t afraid and I wanted to watch,” he told the New York Times.

“First off, I have a bad back. I couldn’t get on the floor, and if I had, they would’ve had to bring people in to help me back up. And secondly, I’m a germaphobe. There was no way I was getting on the floor in my brand-new tuxedo on the dirty Hilton floor. That just wasn’t going to happen,” he added. 😅🕺🏻
