Vladimir, 34, was captured on the cameras of Zelenodolsk Hospital, located in Tatarstan, Russia, walking calmly, half-naked and with a knife lodged in his back.

The man had been attacked on the banks of the Volga River and arrived at the hospital in a noticeable state of intoxication. The medical staff undressed him to take him into surgery and remove the knife lodged in his back. But in the middle of the ward, the patient mumbled “smoke” and instead of staying still, he got up from the stretcher and walked straight toward the exit.
The security camera recorded everything. You can hear the doctors shouting at him that he could lose his life, but Vladimir did not care. Fortunately, after a few minutes, the hospital staff managed to calm him down.
“The knife went in 2 cm and stopped against the bone”, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region, which prevented him from suffering serious damage to his organs.
He underwent surgery and remained stable. The police had to intervene to restrain him, and his girlfriend ended up under investigation as the possible person responsible for the stabbing that nearly cost him his life over a cigarette.
