A 31-year-old man who has not yet been identified survived a free fall from a fourth floor in Rosario, Argentina. The man was desperately hanging from a balcony while police waited below after a report of a disturbance. It is not clear how the man ended up in that situation.

After several seconds of terror, his fingers slipped and he fell in a full 15-meter drop, spinning 180 degrees and landing directly on the hood of the patrol car pursuing him.

The vehicle cushioned an impact that, according to witnesses, would have been fatal against the pavement. Although he ended up with fractures and injuries, the nicknamed “Spider-Man of Rosario” is miraculously alive. Investigators are looking into whether substance use triggered the crisis.
