Imagine living six years with your member “hanging” from one arm. That was Malcolm MacDonald’s life. In 2014, this 47-year-old mechanic lost his organ after a severe infection.

To restore it, doctors grew a new member on his forearm using his own nerves and blood vessels. What was supposed to be a two-year process stretched to six because of the pandemic and delays in a 63,000-dollar surgery.

He had to learn to live his life with a member swinging in his sleeve. After a 9-hour operation, his surgeon managed to move it to its correct place. Today, with 15 centimeters of hope and an erection pump, Malcolm celebrates his new life.
