João Maria de Souza had gone to bed next to his wife as every night in Caratinga, Brazil.
While he slept, a neighbor’s cow managed to climb onto the roof via the building’s sloped hillside, and began walking across the roof until it could no longer hold it.
The cow broke through the roof and fell right where de Souza was sleeping, so he died in the following days from severe injuries. However, the animal and the wife sleeping right beside him were completely unharmed.
