Omar Brogdon, a 31-year-old man from Michigan, United States, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole after murdering Orhan Hosic, a Facebook Marketplace seller, following an absurd argument over which car brand was better: Mercedes or BMW.

The crime occurred on July 6, 2024, at the victim’s home in Fenton Township, where both had met to finalize the sale of some Corvette seats. According to the investigation, the fight escalated and Brogdon ended up shooting Hosic, 38, several times.

Forensic evidence and testimony from neighbors made it possible to identify him, and he was ultimately found guilty in April 2026.
