In 2019, Rehan Khan entered a lion’s pit at a Delhi zoo under the influence of alcohol, causing moments of tension among visitors and staff at the facility.
The man jumped over the safety barrier and entered the area where an adult lion was, which quickly approached and remained in front of him for several minutes.
Witnesses recorded the scene while the facility’s keepers used objects to distract the feline and get the man out of the enclosure. In the end, he managed to escape without serious injuries.
