A man from Ohio was charged with committing an act that left the staff of a veterinary clinic in shock. 💔
Richard Orth brought his elderly female dog Tinkerbell in for humane euthanasia due to her delicate state of health. But while the veterinarians were preparing the procedure, the man decided to act on his own.
According to the investigation, the man strangled the pet inside the room to avoid paying the 500 dollars for the treatment. Audio recordings even captured him saying: “Go with God. I won’t let you suffer. 500 dollars is highway robbery”.
Tinkerbell suffered such severe injuries that the specialists had to put her down shortly afterward.
The man now faces animal cruelty charges and a sentence of up to one year in a state prison if he is found guilty. 😓
