Mauro Icardi was provisionally barred from driving in Argentina.
The measure was recorded on September 21, 2026, in the province of Buenos Aires, because he was driving with an expired license, according to the coverage consulted.
Mundo Deportivo reported that the ban would last “until 2099”, but if the sanction is confirmed, Icardi could drive again in Argentina at the age of 105.
All because of a video in which he appears with his partner without a seat belt, leaning out of the window, while Icardi was behind the wheel with an expired license.
For his part, Icardi argued that his Italian license was valid and that this document authorized him to drive in his home country, although the matter is still under investigation.
