Daryl Sabara was that kid we all watched running across giant screens in Spy Kids. Today, he is married to Meghan Trainor, and she took it upon herself to destroy any innocent nostalgia you might have still had about him.
On a podcast, the singer said through nervous laughter that her husband has, in her words, something out of the ordinary, and that it complicates her life more than anyone could imagine. She admitted that after being with him, she can barely walk properly, and even acted out the conversation they have in the middle of it, with that mixture of humor and resignation that only a long-term couple can get away with.
As if that weren’t enough, she wrapped up the anecdote by saying that they installed a second toilet in their bathroom just so they could use the bathroom at the same time. Tenderness and comedy in the same couple, the kind of intimacy no one asked to know about but that now no one can stop imagining.
