Melanie C got married this weekend in England to Chris Dingwall, with Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Mel B there by her side. The only one absent was Victoria Beckham, who could not travel because of the World Cup. But she found a way to be there anyway: she designed the wedding dress.
“Victoria’s dress was my “something borrowed””, the bride told British Vogue about the pieces her friend created for the legal ceremony and the lakeside celebration. “I offered to make her dream dress”, Victoria explained. “Melanie is minimalist, she did not want anything over the top, and that fits perfectly with what I do”.
For the reception, the sportiest Spice Girl returned to her roots: she changed into a custom-made Adidas look. Almost 30 years after Wannabe, the friendship remains intact 💕
