That’s why it was surprising when, in an exclusive interview with People, the 65-year-old actor admitted that his life with Parkinson’s “has become more difficult over the years”. He said it without dramatics, as if reporting one more fact about a battle that has been going on for more than three decades: he was diagnosed in 1991, at age 29, and has since turned his illness into a cause. 💪
The curious thing is that, in the same conversation, he said they are “getting closer and closer” to finding a cure. It’s not an empty phrase: his foundation, founded in 2000, turned 25 in 2025 and has already allocated more than 2.500 million dollars to Parkinson’s research.
