For many years it was said that Michael Jackson slept inside a hyperbaric chamber to stay young and live to 150 years old. 😱

The rumor began in the 80s, when photos of the singer “lying down” inside one of these machines were leaked, and the tabloid press claimed that he slept there every night.

However, Michael Jackson himself denied everything some time later and called the rumor “made up and stupid”. It was later also revealed that the images had been part of an advertising strategy to promote Captain Eo, a science fiction film written by George Lucas and starring the singer that same year.

Although he did have a hyperbaric chamber at Neverland, experts clarified that he could never have slept inside it without putting his life at risk.

How curious, right? One of the most famous myths about the King of Pop… turned out to be much more fiction than reality. 😱
