Michael Phillips, 38, an art dealer in North Carolina, has news he never thought he would share on national television. He was diagnosed with micropenis, and according to him, at 0.9 centimeters he could have the smallest ever recorded in the world.

Instead of hiding, he went on ITV’s ‘This Morning’ and told everything: how it affects his sex life, how it even makes it difficult for him to use the bathroom in public, and why he would never have a casual one-night encounter. Then he went to TMZ with a direct challenge: if anyone thinks they have something smaller, prove it.

The story took a turn when Dr. Robert Dorfman of Beverly Hills offered him a $20,000 procedure for free. Phillips also started a fundraiser to pay for major surgery, although doctors warned him of something uncomfortable: even if he gains an inch, he will still fall into the same category.
