At 82, the leader of The Rolling Stones has amassed a fortune of nearly 500 million dollars, the result of six decades of tours, albums and an empire he built himself, note by note. But when he was asked what he plans to do with that money, his answer was not what you would expect from a billionaire father.
“My children don’t need 500 million dollars to live well”, he said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. And he went further: “Life shouldn’t be easy for them”. Karis, Jade, Elizabeth, James, Georgia May, Gabriel, Lucas and Deveraux, his eight children from different relationships, will have to build their own path.
