Ema Modric is 13 years old and already knows what it’s like to win in Europe.
This week, she set foot in Valdebebas for the first time as a Real Madrid player, at the same club where her dad, Luka Modric, became the most decorated footballer in Merengue history with 28 titles in 12 seasons.
She joins the Women’s Cadet team, managed by Héctor Bueno, which will compete in Madrid’s Primera División Autonómica from late September.
Her journey did not start there: before signing for Madrid, she played at the AC Milan academy, the club where Luka plays today, and even enjoyed scoring a goal in the quarterfinals of the Copa Garino against Sassuolo.
Now, while her father continues to wear the Rossoneri shirt, Ema has decided to write her own story at the Bernabéu.
