His dad, Felix Kjellberg, better known as PewDiePie, has been in front of the cameras since 2010 and has built one of the largest audiences on the internet. For nearly four and a half years, he and his wife Marzia documented their move to Japan and the raising of their son in a vlog format that the public adored. The more affection they received, the harder the decision they had already been considering became.
This September 22, 2026, Kjellberg confirmed that the family vlogs are ending. Not because they failed, but because they worked too well: Björn’s exposure grew along with the numbers. “It’s a good time to stop”, he said, explaining that if his son ever wants to share his life publicly, that decision belongs to him, not his parents.
The family is staying in Japan. The only thing changing is what the world can see.
