Paloma Nicole, a 14-year-old girl from Mexico, lost her life after cosmetic breast implant surgery imposed by her mother and stepfather. The minor was a happy volleyball champion who was planning her 15th birthday.
But her mother, Paloma Escobedo, a woman apparently obsessed with cosmetic surgeries, and her stepfather (surgeon Víctor Manuel Rosales), planned everything behind his back. To hide the operation from the biological father, they falsified a Covid-19 test, saying the girl would be isolated.
The mother entered the operating room to perform the surgery without being a doctor, with her partner’s authorization. Tragically, the minor ended up brain dead. The father discovered the implants during the funeral. Today both are in prison.
