On April 27, 2020, a cat moved hospital workers in Istanbul, Turkey. She did not knock on any doors, had no health insurance, and much less knew how to speak, but that did not stop her. The mother cat carried her kitten by the neck and walked straight to the hospital emergency room as if she knew exactly where to go.

Merve Özcan, a 24-year-old Turkish graphic designer, captured the moment and posted it on Twitter: a stray cat had taken her sick kitten to the medical center for help so they could treat it.
Instead of shooing them away, the hospital staff gave them milk, water, and food while they examined the little one. The mother did not leave its side for even a second, and both turned out to be in perfect condition, but they were still transferred to a veterinary clinic to make sure they received the care they deserved.

In Turkey, caring for street animals is almost a tradition, and they were happy to help this kitty family, and one thing became very clear… animals’ intelligence has no limits, and sometimes they teach many humans lessons.
