In Malaysia, a GrabFood delivery rider accidentally hit a parked luxury car. It was raining heavily, and he could not wait for the owner to apologize in person. Later, intending to take responsibility, he posted on social media looking for the owner to offer to pay for the damage.

What he received in return left him speechless. The car owner contacted him and wrote: “Hello. I am the owner of the car you hit earlier. Don’t worry, the damage is not too serious. I will take it in for repairs myself. Your job is not easy, so please take care of yourself and prioritize your safety while delivering orders, okay?”

The delivery rider, moved, replied: “Hello boss. I truly regret my carelessness. I am very touched that you did not ask me to pay for the damage. I pray that the Almighty rewards your kindness and blesses you and your family. I apologize once again.”
The story was shared by activist Mohd Fadli Salleh, who highlighted the owner’s empathy and the delivery rider’s honesty.
Two people. One accident. Zero ego.
