Bryony Gordon, a 46-year-old British journalist, ran the 42 kilometers in her underwear for the fourth time, something she had previously done alongside model Jada Sezer and presenter Adele Roberts to raise awareness of mental health issues. But this time, when she saw the photos from the race, something threw her off: her own cellulite. “I felt ashamed”, she admitted candidly.

That shame didn’t last long. Bryony stopped to take a good look at those images and realized something else: that body, cellulite and all, had just run an entire marathon.

Founder of Mental Health Mates and an acclaimed author known for speaking openly about her OCD and depression, she decided to share the full transformation — from discomfort to pride — to remind you that real bodies, the ones that don’t appear retouched, also cross the finish line. 💪
