“My parents forced me to be born, so they should support me”. 21-year-old refuses to work because he didn’t ask to be born

Hassan is 21 years old and has an argument you won’t easily forget: since he never chose to be born, his parents are the ones who should cover his expenses forever. He said it on camera, on TikTok, with the confidence of someone who has already thought it through a thousand times.

The video shot past 3 million views and split the internet into two furious camps. Some defended him as if he were speaking for an entire generation tired of adult demands. Others tore him apart in the comments, accusing him of chasing easy fame with a phrase designed to provoke outrage.

The most curious part came afterward: according to later reports, Hassan himself repeated the speech at a casting for a reality show and then asked that his words be taken “with a grain of salt”. A life philosophy or a strategy to go viral? You decide which side you’re on.

But that’s not all, because in an interview on the show Todo es Mentira, the young man said he only wanted to stir up controversy and that, in reality, he does have a job. “I’m a comedian”, he said.
