Anna Faris shared it on Chelsea Handler’s podcast “Dear Chelsea” on August 20, 2026: her son, whom she has with her ex-partner Chris Pratt, asked her to accept Jesus Christ as his savior.
She never grew up in a religious family. But she remembered what they went through when Jack was born, nine weeks premature, weighing barely three pounds, and suffered a brain hemorrhage that kept him in intensive care for an entire month.
“I told him I’d do anything for him, even this”, Faris confessed, though she clarified that it will take many long conversations to get to that point.
Chris Pratt had already spoken about how that same crisis brought him closer to his faith.
Now, mother and son are walking through that process together: she without inherited beliefs, he with a conviction he has no intention of letting go.
