It wasn’t her outfit that ended up stealing the spotlight at Paris Fashion Week. A video lasting just a few seconds was enough to put Jennifer Lopez back at the center of criticism.
The 57-year-old singer attended the Stella McCartney show on September 30, held outdoors at the residence of the British ambassador to France. However, the rain made things difficult even for the celebrities seated in the front row.
Before JLo sat down, her bodyguard had to wipe down the seat assigned to her with his hands. But that wasn’t all. Once she was seated, the man also held an umbrella over her to protect her from the rain while she checked her phone.
The images began circulating on social media and sparked a discussion about her behavior. Some users considered her a “diva” and “selfish”, especially because her bodyguard was standing in the rain while protecting her.
Although the criticism was quick to appear, some people also came to her defense and pointed out that the man was just doing his job. So, what was supposed to be another JLo appearance in the front row turned into a debate about how celebrities treat their employees.
