More than 20 years ago, a baby just two hours old was abandoned inside a phone booth. Her mother had left her there, wrapped in a blanket, completely alone and with no idea what would become of her.
The little girl’s fate could have been very different, but a man named Joe Campbell found her and stayed by her until help arrived. The girl was adopted and grew up far from that episode under the name Kiran Sheikh, although over time she wanted to know who the man was who had protected her during her first hours of life.
At 22, Kiran finally managed to find Joe and, two decades after that first encounter, they met again.
