In Sichuan, China, a little girl has become a sensation after her father uploaded videos of her helping them at their shop.
In the footage, 6-year-old Niuniu can be seen showing her expertise in sign language to relay customers’ orders to her parents and vice versa. Her father, Hu Hai, lost his hearing at 5 years old after a severe fever. Likewise, Niuniu’s mother lost her speech in childhood.
After getting married, the two opened spa in 2019, quickly becoming established within their community. But fame would come to them after their little girl won everyone’s hearts.
At just 2 years old, Niuniu began learning sign language and over time became the communication bridge between customers and her parents. Every day after school, Niuniu helps her parents by translating customers’ orders into sign language, as well as conveying her parents’ instructions to the customers. In addition, the little girl helps clean the business.
