In August 2024, a street fight between two men right in downtown Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, went viral on social media because of the way both of them faced off “with bare fists”.
The fight took place on Virrey de Mendoza Street and was recorded by several witnesses who were surprised by the technique and the “respect” between those involved, since they even waited for the other to get up before continuing to hit each other.
The video generated thousands of comments and memes, with users saying the fight was “better than Canelo’s” and comparing it to scenes from “Street Fighter”.
