Something unbelievable happened in Pattaya, Thailand, when a man checked many washing machines and stole a thong at a laundromat. The man arrived in an SUV and was wearing a face mask, he grabbed a black thong and left without arousing suspicion, even after the store owner’s daughter asked him what he was doing. At the time, he claimed he was just picking up his laundry.

But, hours later, the same man came back and returned the thong and also brought an envelope containing 25 dollars and a handwritten apology letter. In his message, the man expressed his regret, claiming he felt bad about what happened and apologized both to the store and the thong’s owner, begging her not to press charges against him.

Despite his return and compensation, the store owner had to report the incident to the police, claiming her customers’ trust in her was more important for her business and that the damage he caused could not be erased with money. Authorities gathered evidence, including security footage and he garment in question, and opened an investigation looking for the culprit, who, at this time, has yet to be found.
