The brand describes it as “fitness equipment that’s also art”. A hand-forged stainless-steel rocking chair, capable of supporting up to 500 kilos and designed, according to the catalog, for yoga, Muay Thai, sit-ups and push-ups.
The launch video shows it all in action: a man in a suit leans over the red seats, props himself up on his arms, slides along the curves of the metal, and holds poses that, to put it very generously, could pass for exercise.
But the public decided to see something else. The jokes poured in by the thousands, and a well-known condom brand posted “one chair, so many possibilities”, which got hundreds of thousands of likes. Others asked where the seller had learned to use it like that.
In the end, what that man wanted to show was a chair for exercising. What stuck in everyone’s mind was that they would never look at a rocking chair the same way again.
