In La Alborada, north of Guayaquil, two women were walking peacefully when four men surrounded them.
One of them, known in the area by the alias “Pixar”, has only one leg and still actively participated in the robbery, according to images already circulating on social media. They acted as a group, without hiding their faces, as if they knew no one would stop them. No one has yet confirmed how much they stole from them or whether the victims were injured.
What is known is that, so far, neither “Pixar” nor the other three men appearing in the video have been arrested. Authorities say they are investigating, but for the victims, the wait already feels like another form of injustice.
